FARÜCHOC specializes in making chocolate and producing solid and filled chocolate products. As part of the Windel Group, FARÜCHOC is now one of the most innovative chocolate factories in Germany. This is because the company has constantly evolved over the more than 100 years of its existence - always focused on the wishes and needs of its customers. History

How we became what we are now

1923 - 1994

Falkenpflug Chocolate Factory is founded in Saxony in 1923. The merger with Rüger in 1967 leads to the creation of the name FARÜCHOC. Production is relocated to West Germany (Karlsruhe).

1995 - 1999

Acquisition by what is now the Windel Group in 1995. Four years later, production is relocated from Karlsruhe to Osnabrück.

2000

Following relocation, regular investments are made in the further development of the company and the site.

2008

Capacity is increased and the chocolate-making modernized. Production, storage, and office space is expanded.

2012

Expansion of capacity through investment in a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient chocolate molding line

2013

Startup of a combined heat and power station (CHP) for efficient use of energy

2020

Expansion of capacities through investments in conches.

2021/2022

Expansion of the high-bay warehouse and installation of a rooftop photovoltaic system
